October  24 - 27 Dear Kindergarten Families, Thank you to everyone who donated a pumpkin.  We have had lots of fun carving and digging out pumpkin "guts".  We have used word like"slimy, sticky, ooey, gooey, stinking, sweet, stringy, bumpy, heavy, light, scary, funny, happy, creepy and many other descriptive words to tell about our experience as we designed faces and cleaned out each pumpkin.  We had lots of orange hands! This week in Kindergarten we had some Halloween centres to explore.  We also did some pumpkin carving and some Halloween Stations.  Our house centre was changed into a Halloween store that gave out candy.  We had to ring the doorbell and then roll a dice to determine how much candy we would get in our trick or treat bags.  We counted out pompoms for candy.  We made witch's brew with spiders, worms, bats and creepy crawlers.  The recipe was printed out and we had to find the objects to put into the pot.   Stations: We will continue these stations nex
