   June 17 - 21 Dear Kindergarten Families, Thank you to Parent Council for the providing the money for us to enjoy the animals at the zoo with our buddies on Monday. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered on Monday we are so grateful for your time and support. On Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the gym we will have a short assembly to celebrate our year in kindergarten together.  Parents are invited to come and celebrate with us.  Your child's belongings as well as the work they have done this year will be ready to be picked up after the 10:00 assembly.  Activity Day will also be part of our day.  We will participate after our morning assembly with the entire school.    Literacy: We have been learning to write the letters on our morning message with a whiteboard marker.   We continued to work on our animal research drawings and facts.  This week we drew penguins using art hub for kids.  We wrote some facts that we learned at t...

  June 10 - 14 Dear Kindergarten Families, Thank you to Parent Council for the experience of Trickster this week.  The students learned a lot of fun games and were able to experience a real theatre performance with lights, music, staging etc.  Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping with costumes and with the show.  Thanks to Ms. Jessica, Ms. Anna and Mr. Ken and all our other amazing volunteers!    June 3 - 7   All Library Books are due Thursday, June 13th.   Please help your child remember to return their books.  Dear Kindergarten Families, Thank you to Ms. Nida for volunteering in our classroom this week. Upcoming Field Trip to the zoo is on Monday June 17th with our grade 4 buddies.   Bright pink forms were sent home Friday and need to be returned as soon as possible please.   June 10 - 14th we will be learning from a group of talented artists about from Trickster.  They will help us learn to perform from our Earth Science topic in our science curriculum for kindergarten.  Parents are invites to the performance on Friday June 14th from 8:30 - 10:00.   Literacy: Our morning messages have been missing letters at the ends of words and we are learning to figure out the missing letters by listening to the sound that the letters make.  We are now listening to sounds in the middle of words and trying to figure ou...

  May     27 - May 31 Library Day is Thursday.   Please help your child remember to return their books so they can choose a new story to share. with you.  This will be the last week for book exchanges.   Dear Kindergarten Families, We have music on Monday and Wednesdays.  Please help your child to arrive on time so we are ready for music at 8:00.  We learned a new song in music this week.  We will keep practicing it and learning movement actions that go with our song next week.  Thank you to Ms. Nida for volunteering in our classroom this week.
